Andrew is a retiree living in the picturesque coastal town of Folkestone, UK. After spending 15 years on the road as a consultant, Andrew is now retired and relishing his well-deserved relaxation. However, retirement doesn’t mean he’s slowing down.

Volunteering at his local hospice is important work for Andrew, since his own battle with prostate cancer 15 years ago.

He tells us that since then, his health has become his biggest priority, which is why he came to Drewberry looking for Health Insurance. We wanted to find out what Andrew thought of his experience, so we caught up with him for a quick chat.

Why Andrew Believed Health Insurance To Be The Best Solution…

Andrew isn’t new to Health Insurance, having had policies in the past. He was lucky enough to have a policy through his employer and quickly saw the value of having such protection. So much so that after leaving his job, he looked to put personal protection in place.

Living in Belgium at the time, he wanted to ensure his healthcare needs would be covered. However, it started to become far too expensive, leading him to put a stop to the policy.

I was impressed with the Belgian healthcare, but it was becoming too expensive—moving me into the £3,000+ mark.

Andrew’s experience of Health Insurance in the past showed him just how valuable it is. As a result, upon his retirement, he made the decision to put a new personal policy in place.

A Need For Cancer Care…

Knowing that no one is immune to the big C word, Andrew was worried about getting cancer care on his policy. With a diagnosis in his medical notes, Andrew wondered if it would affect how much cover he could get.

He voiced his concerns and was met with genuine care and concern. Thankfully, his past diagnosis didn’t matter, and we were able to provide a policy which gave Andrew full Cancer Cover.

Andrew Was Quids In After Reviewing His Policy…
