Our Breathe HR integration enables you to sync your employee data with My.Drewberry. Instead of manually adding realms of data, the integration automation saves you a lot of time. See how Breathe HR integration works.
Check Your Employee Data
Before integration, check your employee data is up to date in Breathe HR.
This includes:
- Employment Start Date
- Name
- Address
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Salary
- Location/Site
- Employee Type
- End Date.
If you have any niche categories you want to sync to My.Drewberry, such as a specific work location, we can limit the data we extract from Breathe HR based on these filters.
How Does Breathe HR Integration Work?
When you integrate with My.Drewberry, it will:
- Update any employees who currently exist in Breathe HR data as per the data fields above
- Add any employees who are in Breathe HR, but not in My.Drewberry, based on the People Sync filter
- Move any employees past their employment end date to the leavers section to trigger the removal of these individuals from their benefits.
Once integrated, any changes made in Breathe HR override any changes manually made on My.Drewberry.
New Joiners From Breathe HR
When configuring your My.Drewberry platform, there are employee categories to add your employees into. These ensure your staff are enrolled onto their eligible benefits.
This feature is unique to My.Drewberry, which means the employee category is not set when new joiners are added to the platform via HRIS sync.
So, after adding a new joiner via Breathe HR, you’ll get a task in My.Drewberry to add them to the correct employee category. See the No Employee Category guide on the hub for more details.
Connecting Breathe HR To My.Drewberry
Integrating Breathe HR with My.Drewberry is easy peasy. See it in action below 🤩
1. Head To The “Manage Employees” Tab In The Admin Centre
Click “Integrate HRIS” to access the integration tool.
NOTE: Integration can only be actioned by the admin of the Breathe HR account.
2. Check Your People Sync Settings Are Correct
If there is a specific site or type of employee you want to sync, our People Sync function enables the data to be filtered from Breathe HR. By specifying the type of employee, for example, we’ll limit the data we gather to those requested categories.
NOTE: If you leave the People Sync blank, all employees from Breathe HR will sync.
3. Add New Integration
When you’re happy with your People Sync settings, click “Add New” to begin the integration.
4. Search For The Breathe HR Integration
From the list of integrations, search for Breathe HR. You will be prompted to add an API Key.
5. Log Into Breathe HR To Get The API Key
Log into your Breathe HR admin account. On the dashboard, click the “Configure” tab and go to Settings.
Locate the integrations section and click “API Setup”. Then you need to enable the API keys. You will also be prompted to give permissions for the API to access user information.
Copy the Production Key. You’ll need it for the next step.
6. Integrate With My.Drewberry
Head back to your My.Drewberry tab and paste the API key into the field. Click “Save”. This connects My.Drewberry and Breathe HR.
How To Know The Integration Is Set Up
When Breathe HR is successfully integrated, there will be a Breathe HR card under the “Integrate HRIS” section in My.Drewberry.
After Setting Up The Integration
Now the integration is complete, your employee data will sync every day at 15:00 pm (BST). Breathe HR will become your source of truth for your core employee data.
If you make changes in My.Drewberry to any of the information we sync to our platform, it is overwritten by the data in Breathe HR the next day.
How To Disable Your Integration
It’s easy to disable your integration. Go to the integration section in My.Drewberry under “Manage Employees” and click “Manage”. You can disable the connection here.
